The 360 King Street Apartments project consisted of a historic renovation of a three-story composite steel, wood and masonry structure located in Charleston’s Downtown Historic District. The project required demolition of interiors while preserving main hallways, stairways and plastered walls. The exterior renovations included adding a new storefront tenant entry with a custom wood canopy, repairing the historical windows, and providing a new TPO roof. The interior renovations included creating 10 apartments, refinishing the existing hardwood floors and installing a second stairwell. The building received all new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to accommodate the new use as apartments. The 5,200 SF ground floor suite was renovated to receive a retail tenant.
